Here is an interesting Demo of MGS2. Indeed, unlike MGS1 no Pilot Disc of MGS2 was released (not to my knowledge at least). Only the trial versions that were included in the different versions of Z.O.E and the OPSM demos (Official Playstation Magazine) were officialy released to the grand public. This demo is a whole different thing, it is an official European Sony Playstation 2 Demo Disc: it looks like a European Promotional Version, but colours are actually reversed (compare it with the MGS2 Promo Version). Just like the promo versions, that kind of demo is aimed at retailers or press. There is another main difference between this demo and other MGS2 demos: this one comes on a DVD whereas any other MGS2 demo comes on a CD.

I have not had much time to test this demo, but as I remember this playable demonstration already is comparable to the final product. Still, I consider it as a nice find since I have never, ever seen this demo again anywhere.
