The Premium Package is the Japanese limited edition of Metal Gear Solid. It was released in Japan in 1998. The regular Premium Package (the silver version), was limited to 35.000 pieces, whereas this commemorative edition was only sent out to Konami shareholders (not all of them). However, an "Asian" version of this pack exists too (only slight differences such as English text instead of Japanese and a set of cards), and I have a picture showing a Dog-Tag coming from this kind of pack, numbered 40 670. It means the regular edition accounts at least another 5 000 pieces with this "Asian" silver version. Purists may even consider that Asian version as a stand-alone edition...
