This is a limited edition of Solid Snake by McFarlane Toys. It was sold exclusively at the New York Toy Fair in 1999. This figure comes in a clear bag instead of a regular box. The packaging looks cheap but it has its charm. A silver variant version exists too, yet that one is slightly harder to find. Besides, in his silver version, Snake comes with his handgun only whereas the coloured version includes all weapons & accessories (rocket launcher, Famas, handgun, suppressor, C4 explosive, gas mask, thermal/night-vision goggles). I am not a fan of McFarlane Toys but I have got to say I rather like the MGS1 Solid Snake.
